Migrating data from Base Application to Fenwick Gold Apps

The Data Migration toolkit will help you migrate data from existing base application tables to the new Fenwick Gold App tables and table extensions.

To migrate the data successfully to an app, the following steps need to be performed.

1. Import the Fenwick Gold App JSON Configuration Template provided in the release folder along with the app. The destination app need not be installed.
2. Export the JSON data file from Business Central. The destination app need not be installed.
3. Install the updated Base Application and the new Fenwick Gold app in Business Central and Import the JSON data file to transfer the data to the relevant app tables.
