The "Last Known Error" information is useful for helping understand why something might have gone wrong. This article will show you how to collect the last known error from Business Central.
When raising a support ticket with us please include the Last Known Error to help us better understand your request.
Getting the Last Known Error
- Perform the action that causes the error
- Without leaving the page, select the question mark (?) action on the navigation bar in Business Central.
- Under the Troubleshooting section, choose the View the last known error action.
- The latest error will appear on the page if there is any since your last login in Business Central. Please copy the full values into your ticket instead of a screenshot as the values can be quite long.
