How to configure an Assembly Item

Replenishment System

Changing the Replenishment System setting on the item card to Assembly introduces a new tab for Assembly BOM Lines. The Replenishment System field has been moved to the Item tab for ease of selection.

Assembly BOM Lines

The Assembly BOM Lines provides a quick glance at the assembly bill of materials for the item without having to navigate to a different page and allows for the setup of the Assembly BOM Lines. The following actions have also been made available on the subpage:

• Show BOM
• Explode BOM
• Calc. Standard Cost
• Calc. Unit Price
• Cost Shares

Configuration

The Calc. Standard Cost action can be run from the Process category.
